This form allows residents and business owners to voluntarily register their surveillance cameras with the Pleasanton Police Department. By registering, the Pleasanton Police Department does not have the right to access the information recorded on your camera(s). In the event a crime occurs in your area, Pleasanton Police Department detectives may ask you to share relevant surveillance video from a particular date and time. Camera footage may include the actual crime or other pertinent details which could potentially aid in the apprehension of the suspect(s) responsible for the crime under investigation.
